Whilst Autism Network Scotland cannot actually participate in dissertation projects, we are happy to provide information and suggestions for contacts and, where possible, signpost you to the relevant people/organisations.

Your dissertation project should meet the following criteria:

• Have full ethical approval from an ethics committee (and be able to evidence this)
• Have a positive, assets-based approach to autism and not used deficit-based language
• Wherever possible, be co-produced by autistic people and/or use a participatory approach
• Be supported by a recognised body (e.g. academic institution, research organisation, NHS etc.)
• Have meaning, positive impact of autistic people and their families
